Kindergarten families can prepare for the upcoming school year through a series of scheduled events and testing sessions, according to a notice posted to the Provo Provost website.
The announcement welcomes new students and outlines procedures for getting to know students before the official start of the school year.
One-on-one testing sessions are being offered before school begins. These sessions are intended to help teachers get to know students and assess their current knowledge levels. Families are requested to sign up for a testing time for their child.
Teachers will send welcome emails to families by Monday, August 24th. These emails will identify the student's teacher and provide information regarding which classroom to visit during Back-to-School Night.
Back-to-School Night is scheduled for Monday, August 24th, from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Families are asked to arrive promptly at 4:30 pm to ensure they receive important information shared by teachers regarding the upcoming school year.
