Manti High School has released its Teacher and Student Success Act (TSSA) plan, establishing a framework to improve student outcomes in English, Math, and Science. The plan follows requirements from SB 149 of the 2019 general session, which mandates that LEA governing boards adopt student success frameworks.
The school aims to increase its ACT composite score by at least 0.3 by March 1, 2026. To track progress, MHS compares end-of-year ACT results to the previous year's data.
Recent data shows a trend in ACT composite scores at Manti High School. The score was 19.3 in 2022, 19.0 in 2023, 19.5 in 2024, and reached 19.9 in 2025.
To achieve its growth goals, the school has identified several action plan steps. These include using TSSA funds for teacher professional development and purchasing software, equipment, books, and supplies for classroom use. The plan also includes funding for Brittany Mason AD secretary to assist with tracking grades and attendance.
Additional support measures involve hiring math tutors for the teen center and planning to hire an Americorp employee to assist with tutoring and attendance tracking.
