Park City Toastmasters announced June 7 that the club will launch a three-month executive speaking and leadership program featuring communication expert John Bates beginning June 23.
Program details and focus
The program, held at the Park City Library, focuses on developing advanced skills such as storytelling, executive presence, emotional connection, and audience impact. Up to 12 members will receive coaching and mentorship to refine speeches ranging from four to 12 minutes in length.
Goals and training features
Club President Karen Stone said the initiative aims to provide opportunities for members to learn from nationally recognized experts and gain tools applicable to leadership, business, and life. The training will also include professional video production to help participants create personal branding content and speaking assets.
Upcoming public speaking event
The program is scheduled to culminate in a major public speaking event this fall, which is expected to host between 80 and 100 attendees for an afternoon of presentations.
