Utah Valley University has set a new mark for educating the most Utahns among the state’s higher education institutions. The university reported a record 48,67 enough students for the fall 2025 semester, marking a 3.98% increase over last year's total enrollment.
UVU president Astrid S. Tuminez stated that every student matters at the university and noted that these numbers reflect the trust placed in the institution by students and families. She added that the university is dedicated to providing care and creating pathways for success for those in high school, first-time college students, working adults, and graduate students.
Enrollment growth was observed across all student levels, including undergraduate, graduate, and high school programs. For the first time in UVU history, the number of students enrolled in graduate programs exceeded 1,000, reaching 1,151 students, which is a 15.45% increase over the previous year.
The university's adult learning population, defined as students aged 25 or older, grew by 2.26%.
More than 45,900 of the enrolled students are residents of Utah. The student body composition shows slightly more female students, with 24,449, compared to 24,169 male students.
