Residents living near Bandwagon Park attended a Lehi City Council meeting last week to advocate for slower driving speeds near local parks.
The appeal follows an incident on June 6, 2026, where an 11-year-old boy was hit while riding an electric bike.
According to reports, the boy was traveling home after baseball practice when the collision occurred as he crossed 900 North and 300 West.
The incident has prompted community members to call for increased driver caution in the area.
