A truth in taxation public hearing was announced for Cottonwood Heights, scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
The hearing was set to be held at City Hall within the council chambers located at 2277 East Bengal Blvd. Virtual participation was also noted as a possibility for the event.
Instructions regarding public comment and links for the meeting were provided on the official agenda, which could be accessed via CH.UTAH.GOV/AGENDAS.
In addition to the hearing, a General Plan Update session was scheduled for July 22 from 5–7 p.m. at City Hall, with an option to participate online.
Cottonwood Heights City Hall observed closures on Thursday, July 23, and Friday, July 24, for Pioneer Day, with regular business hours resuming on Monday, July 27.
Regarding local regulations, fireworks were permitted only in non-restricted areas between July 22 and July 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with an extension until midnight on July 24.
