RECEIPT OF BIDS: Separate sealed BIDS or Electronic Submittal using Bonfire for the construction of 2026 Windsor & Community Park Improvement Project will be received by Taggart Bowen, City Engineer at the City of Orem, Engineering Division, 56 North State, Orem, UT 84057, or opened electronically on Bonfire until July 7, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The preferred method for submitting a bid is by using Bonfire at https://utah.bonfirehub.com (Select the search bar > > enter “City of Orem” > Enter).
BIDDING QUESTIONS – Use Bonfire to submit questions and download documents relating to bid items, specifications, and other technical questions. The Project Manager is Tacoma Parkinson,(801) 229-7314. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., in the Community Development Ponderosa Conference Room, located at 56 North State Street, Orem Utah, 84057.
OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained June 16th, 2026 on Bonfire or at the City of Orem, Engineering Division, Community Development Offices, 56 North State Street, Orem, UT 84057. There is no fee from the City to obtain the documents on Bonfire. There will be a $20 non-refundable fee for a copy of the plans and specification. (An additional $5.00 service charge will be assessed if the plans and specifications are to be mailed).
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The WORK includes Site and Building Demolition, two (2) new restroom and storage buildings, 217’ of 6” SDR 35 PVC pipe, 998’ of 2” HDPE CTS Pipe, new trail lights and power infrastructure, 4 post-tensioned pickleball courts including court surfacing and striping nets, posts, etc., concrete improvements including flatwork, curbing, ADA ramps, landscaping and irrigation improvements, and other park improvements.
SITE OF WORK: The site of WORK is located within two City Parks in Orem Windsor & Community Park.
