The Nibley City Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to meet on Thursday, October 29, 2026, to discuss several municipal items, according to a notice published October 28. The meeting is set to begin at 6:30 PM MT and is expected to conclude by 10:00 PM MT.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes a discussion and consideration regarding a preliminary plat for The Fields at Nibley. This proposed 54-lot open space subdivision is located at approximately 1405 W 3200 S. Additionally, commissioners will hold a workshop focused on a framework for home business regulations.
The commission will also consider a recommendation for Ordinance 26-13. This ordinance would amend NCC 19.24.150 regarding permitted signs, including provisions related to setbacks, permit requirements, and signage that is temporary or political in nature. The meeting will also involve the approval of the current agenda and the meeting minutes from September 24, 2026.
The meeting will be held at 455 W 3200 S, Nibley, UT 84321. In accordance with Utah Code Annotated §52-4-207 and Nibley City Resolution 12-04, the meeting may be conducted electronically, allowing the public to observe the proceedings live via the YouTube link provided on the Nibley City website.
The commission noted that no agenda item shall begin after 10:00 PM MT without a unanimous vote. If an item is not heard due to timing, it may be continued to the next regularly scheduled meeting.
