The Utah Department of Interior has released the names of three firefighters who died this past Saturday while responding to a wildfire located on the border between Colorado and Utah.
The incident occurred during the response to the Knowles Fire near the Colorado-Utah border.
In addition to the three fatalities, two other firefighters sustained injuries during the incident. These individuals are currently receiving medical care.
The fire has also been referred to as the Snyder Fire.
