Rockport State Park has implemented Stage 2 fire restrictions, prohibiting all open fires including those in established fire pits, charcoal grills, pellet grills, or ash-producing fuel. According to a notice on the Utah State Parks website, the north side docks have been removed due to water levels, while the south side and wedge docks remain as long as conditions allow.
Water levels at the park are at 38 percent. Regarding fishing, numerous reports indicate that perch and bass are being caught. The park's archery course, Pinery, Highland, Cedar Point, Juniper, Crandall, Twin Coves, Cottonwood, Riverside, and Pinery day-use areas are all open.
Campgrounds are open, with reservations running from May 1 through September 30. Visitors may make reservations for campsites four months in advance and for group campsites eleven months in advance. While generators are permitted, they must be turned off during quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
The dump station is open and provides potable water, though officials requested that non-campers refrain from filling water tanks to assist the struggling well. Non-campers using the dump station are required to pay the day-use fee. Additionally, the park office is clearing out lost and found items from the previous year.
