Utah Tech men’s basketball fifth year senior forward Ethan Potter was named to the Blue Ribbon Yearbook’s preseason All-Big Sky team, according to a September 14 report.
Potter, who is originally from Layton, Utah, averaged 16.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game for the Trailblazers during the previous season.
In addition to his scoring and rebounding, Potter led the WAC in field goal percentage during the 2025/26 season, connecting on 59.8 percent of his shots.
Other players selected for the preseason All-Big Sky team include:
Alton Hamilton IV, a senior forward from Eastern Washington
Jed Miller, a senior guard from Montana State
Koren Johnson, a senior guard from Portland State
Langston Reynolds, a small forward from Northern Colorado
Reynolds was also named the publication’s Big Sky player of the year, while Johnson was named newcomer of the year.
The Trailblazers are scheduled to begin their season on November 2 at The Pit in Albuquerque, N.M., against the New Mexico Lobos.
