The National Park Service is warning boaters at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area that fire suppression aircraft assigned to the Babylon Fire will be active on Lake Powell.
These aircraft will be scooping water from the lake between Good Hope Bay and Castle Butte in order to refill tankers.
The activity is part of the response to the Babylon Fire.
Until further notice, boaters have been advised of these operations occurring within the specified area between Good Hope Bay and Castle Butte.
