The recognition follows a 3-0 victory for Real Salt Lake against St. Louis CITY SC, during which Solans and Marczuk combined for all three goals.
In the match played Monday, October 19, 2026, Sergi Solans scored in the 41st and 59th minutes. This marked Solans' third brace of his professional campaign and his fourth selection to the Matchday Best XI this season. His scoring performance moved him into second place for goals scored by an MLS SuperDraft selection in their rookie year, trailing only Cyle Larin.
Dominik Marczuk was named to the Best XI for the first time this season after scoring a long-distance goal seven minutes after the halftime break. That strike was nominated for Goal of the Matchday.
Real Salt Lake is scheduled to travel to Austin FC at Q2 Stadium on Wednesday, October 28. The team will then face the San Jose Earthquake on October 31 to conclude a three-match week.
