South Weber Elementary has announced a series of upcoming community and school events scheduled for the end of October.
A school fundraiser featuring dinner at Little Caesar's Pizza is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Additionally, the PTA will host a free Skate Night at the Classic Fun Center in Layton on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The school will also hold a Halloween Parade on Friday at 9:30 a.m., which will take place outside if weather permits. Students are expected to wear school attire or colors for Spirit Friday to conclude HOPE Week. For the parade, costumes must be school appropriate, meaning they cannot be gory, violent, or include weapons. Costumes must not be political or discriminating, and faces must remain visible with minimal paint. Inflatables must not be too large or hide the wearer's face.
These activities are part of a variety of events planned for the South Weber Elementary community to conclude the month.
