Trailside Elementary held a new family orientation and meet-and-greet event on Aug. 17, 2026, to prepare students for the upcoming school year. The event, which included sessions for new families and a general welcome, coincided with the release of school supply lists and testing information for the 2026-27 term.
Family Orientation Events
The school hosted a new family orientation from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 17, 2026, followed by a meet-and-greet session from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. These events were designed to welcome students and their families to the Trailside community.
School Hours and Location
Trailside Elementary, located at 5700 Trailside Drive in Park City, operates with specific daily schedules for the school year. Standard hours for students are 8:15 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays. The school office maintains office hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Academic Testing Information
Academic preparations for the 2026-27 school year include specialized testing for various grade levels. Information regarding CogAT testing was made available for both 2nd grade and 5th grade students.
Preparation Resources
The school has also released school supply lists for the 2026-27 school year to assist families with preparations. Additional resources provided by the school include the Parent/Student Handbook, transportation and bus route information, and various safety links such as SafeUT.
Digital and Administrative Resources
The school maintains several digital resources for parents and students, including PowerSchool, Canvas, and Clever. Other administrative links provided by the school include information on construction, fraud and waste hotlines, and transportation services.
