The St. George Police Department and the St. George Active Transportation Committee are hosting the 5th annual Roll With Patrol community bike ride on Friday, May 15, 2026. The event is part of a celebration for National Bike Month and will be held during the packet pick-up for the Cops & Robbers 10k, 5k, and Fun Run.
Participants can choose from several course distances or use the free event to preview the running course during an officer-led ride.
The event will take place at Crosby Family Confluence Park, located at 1953 South Convention Center Drive in St. George. The program begins at 4:00 PM with food, including hot dogs, chips, and drinks, available while supplies last.
Scheduled ride start times include a 10-mile course at 5:00 PM, a 10K course at 5:05 PM, and a 5K course at 5:10 PM. Additionally, a Kids Bike Rodeo cone course will run from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This supervised obstacle course allows young bicyclists to practice skills, learn about street signs, and receive helmet fittings.
Roll With Patrol is a free event that does not require registration, though participants should bring their own bicycles.
The event will provide information regarding the 2026 Utah law requiring anyone under 21 years old operating an electric assisted device to wear a helmet. With support from Intermountain Health and the Southwest Utah Public Health Department, the ride will offer expert helmet fitting, a helmet decorating station, and free helmets, bells, and lights while supplies last.
While Roll With Patrol is free, registration is required for those participating in the Cops & Robbers event.
