SUMMARY:  At approximately 06:18 p.m. on 07/23/2026, the Ada County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. 22-year-old Sara Bronson of St. George, Utah, was pronounced dead in the hospital after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful. Sara Bronson was transported on 07/23/2026 from Valley County after being submerged for a period of time in the Payette River. Further information pending investigation.

The investigation is being conducted by Valley County Sheriff.
