American Crossroads Theatre will present a four-show summer season from June 26 through Aug. 8 to celebrate America's 250th anniversary, featuring productions that explore American history and community.
Summer Season Lineup and Venues
The upcoming season, which includes the Tony Award-winning musicals Come From Away, The Music Man, and Chicago, along with the one-man play Mister Lincoln, will rotate through various venues. According to a press release from American Crossroads Theatre, the season begins at the Vista School Theatre in Ivins with The Music Man, running from June 26 through July 2 before moving to Cedar City.
Independence Day Weekend Schedule
The Cedar City portion of the schedule officially launches during Independence Day weekend with performances of Mister Lincoln on July 3 and 4. The remaining productions will open on July 9, 10, and 11, with all four shows rotating through the Heritage Center Theater until Aug. 8.
Artistic Vision for the Season
Richard Bugg, the founder and artistic director of American Crossroads Theatre, said the season serves as a tribute to the American story by presenting works that reflect different facets of the national experience. The company, which is currently celebrating its 24th season, described the lineup as a celebration of the values, challenges, and humanity that connect communities.

The featured productions include Chicago, which focuses on fame and media during the Jazz Age; Come From Away, a story regarding airline passengers stranded in Newfoundland; and The Music Man, which follows a character named Harold Hill.
