Independence High School has released the schedule for Hope Week, which is set to run from March 30 through April 3, 2026. The event includes daily themed dress-up days and various lunchtime activities.
Daily themes include Crazy Hair or Hat Day on Monday, a day where teachers dress like students and students dress like teachers on Tuesday, Pajama or Comfy Clothes Day on Wednesday, Twin Day on Thursday, and School Pride Day on Friday, where students are encouraged to wear blue.
Lunchtime activities are scheduled throughout the week. On Monday, students can participate in the Stop Youth Suicide Pledge Well with Painting Hands. Tuesday's lunch features Shred Your Stress and Hot Cocoa, followed by Minute to Win it Games on Wednesday.
Thursday's lunch includes a Paper Airplane Competition and Pop the Mental Health Balloon. The week concludes Friday with a Piñata featuring Pride Cards.
Throughout the entire week, several ongoing activities are available. These include wearing Hope Squad wristbands, Duck Hunt, Guess the Life Saver Jar, voting on a Door Decorating Contest, and writing kind notes to friends.
