Kaysville GIVES is approaching the completion of its Christmas needs but reports that 200 gift cards are still required to finalize donations for the year.
Local impact of donations
These gift cards are intended to remain 100% local, providing support to students from every Kaysville school, as well as Willow Pines, Mercy Housing, Mountain High, and the Family Enrichment Center.
Purpose and benefits for recipients
The organization noted that many teens receiving these donations are navigating difficult circumstances. Providing gift cards allows recipients to choose what they need most.
Requested types and amounts
Requested gift card types include Target, Walmart, Amazon, Visa/Mastercard, and Smith’s. Contributions of $10, $15, or $25 are noted as helpful amounts to reach the donation goal.
Drop-off locations and deadlines
Gift cards can be dropped off by December 12 at 5 PM at Young Truck & Trailer located at 200 North 650 West or at Kaysville City Hall at 23 E. Center Street. Note that Kaysville City Hall closes at 1:00 pm on Friday.
Online donation options available
Donors may also select gift cards to donate via the website www.KaysvilleGIVES.com, or choose to donate online for the organization to purchase the cards.
