Salt Lake County Library scheduled a diverse lineup of community programs for Monday, June 15, featuring educational activities for infants, toddlers, and teens alongside adult language learning opportunities.
Morning programs for young children
Early morning programming for young children includes a "Baby and Me" storytime at the Draper Meeting Room from 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., featuring songs and nursery rhymes for infants up to 18 months. In South Jordan, Toddler Time will run from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., offering finger plays and stories for children ages 1.5 to 3. Later that morning, South Jordan will also host "Playtime for Littles" from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., an open play session with toys for children ages 1 to 5.
Afternoon activities and adult language club
Other scheduled activities for Monday include a "Storytime Station" in Draper from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. focused on preschoolers, and a "Teen Story Hour" in Kearns from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., which features coloring and light music. For adults, the Japanese Learners Club will meet in Sandy from 7:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. to discuss topics related to Japanese language learning.
Interactive challenges and ToshoCON announcement
In Taylorsville, the library is running a "Nasca Lines Match" challenge from June 15 through June 20, where participants can attempt to match geometric shapes for a small prize. Meanwhile, the County Library has released information regarding ToshoCON 2026, an anime convention for teens scheduled for September 11 and 12 at the Viridian Event Center in West Jordan.

The upcoming ToshoCON will feature cosplay, art contests, and an idol showcase. Applications for vendors, panels, and various contests opened on June 1.
