The Tremonton 12th Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is inviting the community to join upcoming faith-based activities and worship services. An upcoming Sunday service is scheduled for Oct. 25 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at 1150 South Tremont Street in Tremonton, Utah.
The congregation's Sunday worship includes a main service for all members known as sacrament meeting. This meeting features songs, prayers, and sermons given by various members, and includes the taking of the sacrament to remember Jesus Christ. Following the main service, the congregation offers specific classes for children, youth, and adults.
The organization maintains several traditions focused on family, such as reserving one night a week for family night. Other community activities include potlucks, small parties, and youth groups for teenagers. Members also participate in collective prayer, scripture reading, and fasting on the first Sunday of every month.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints describes its members as people who strive to live the gospel of Jesus Christ to find strength and peace. Lifestyle practices for faithful members include avoiding working on Sundays to focus on church, service, and family, as well as avoiding smoking, alcohol, and gambling.
The local church community webpage is regularly updated with information regarding Sunday worship services and various activities available to the community.
