Under permit PL-26-06820, the Silverlode lift would be upgraded from a six-passenger detachable lift to an eight-passenger detachable lift. This project would maintain the same approximate alignment and include a lift storage and maintenance building near the bottom terminal.
Eagle lift replacement plans
Permit PL-26-06821 involves replacing the Eagle and Eaglet fixed-grip lifts with a six-passenger detachable lift. This upgrade would feature a new alignment with a mid-station unload.
Commission review and approval timeline
The Planning Commission's review process included a site visit and work session on March 25, 2026. A public hearing regarding the traffic, parking, and transportation components of the project was held on May 13, 2026. The commission officially approved the lift upgrades during a public hearing on May 27, 2026.
