The Toquerville City Council scheduled a regular business meeting for Sept. 16, 2026, according to a Sept. 14 notice. The meeting is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. at 212 N. Toquer Blvd.
The meeting agenda includes a presentation by Sam Harvey, the District Outreach Coordinator for Congresswoman Celeste Maloy. Other business items include a public hearing regarding an ordinance to vacate a portion of a municipal utility easement in the Boulder Ridge Subdivision, Phase 1, Lot 4.
Council members will also discuss a hillside development permit submitted by Firelight Development, Inc. for Indigo at Firelight, Phases 2-5. Additionally, the council will discuss an ordinance to amend the Toquerville City Code regarding quiet hours for nightly rentals.
The council is also scheduled to discuss hillside and sensitive lands development, code enforcement, and the selection of a City Attorney to proceed with contract negotiations.
Upcoming community events listed include a sod laying party at Westfield Park on Sept. 18, a tour of the Confluence Park Water Reclamation Facility on Sept. 23, the Miss Toquerville Pageant on Sept. 28, and Movies in the Park on Oct. 9.
