Nibley City released a schedule for the 2026 3rd and 4th grade flag football league in a report published September 8. The schedule outlines game times, locations, and league guidelines for the upcoming season.
The league features several teams, including the Seahawks, Longhorns, Alligators, Chiefs, Steelers, Raptors, Packers, Ravens, and Silver Wolves. Games are scheduled for various dates in September and October 2026, with a scheduled break for Fall Break from Oct. 8 through Oct. 10.
Locations for the games include Darley Park Wellsville Softball, Heritage Park Fields 6 and 7, Heritage Park SE, Nibley City Hall Fields 1 and 2, and Ander Park Field 1.
According to the document, games proceed unless a coach notifies participants of a cancellation. If significant rain or snow creates unsafe field conditions or would damage the field, the Nibley Parks Superintendent may cancel games by 4 p.m. on the day of the event. In such cases, games may only be rescheduled at the discretion of league coordinators, and forfeited games will not be rescheduled.
The league is described as a recreation-level experience designed to offer an affordable developmental environment where participants learn basics through a scrimmage format. The league motto is Play Smart, Play Safe, and Have Fun.
