The 2026 Annual Meeting of the Western Governors’ Association is scheduled to take place in Deer Valley, Utah, from June 30 to July 2. The event will be hosted by Utah Governor Spencer Cox.
Meeting agenda and key initiatives
The meeting will feature keynote addresses and panel discussions. It will also serve as the conclusion of Governor Cox’s WGA Chair initiative titled Energy Superabundance: Unlocking Prosperity in the West.
Release of new policy report
The meeting will officially conclude with the release of a special policy report. This report will include federal recommendations intended to bolster energy production, transmission, and storage across the nation.
Upcoming speaker announcements and highlights
Information regarding keynote speakers and gubernatorial participation is expected to be released by the WGA in the coming weeks. The association also provided a highlight video from the 2025 Winter Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona, which included six Western Governors and two U.S. Cabinet Secretaries.
