Following an executive order from Governor Cox, several fireworks restrictions are now in effect across Sevier County.
The specific rules for firework use depend on the individual city within the county.
In Aurora City, officials have designated City Park as the only area where letting off fireworks is permitted. All other areas in the city are currently banned from using fireworks.
Other locations face stricter prohibitions. In Annabella, no fireworks are allowed, and Central Valley has also implemented a ban on fireworks use.
Restrictions for Elsinore were also noted as part of the county-wide updates following the governor's order.
