Bear Lake State Park facilities across the Utah and Idaho borders offer diverse camping and boating options, according to information released June 13, while Richmond continues to provide community development resources for local residents.
Utah Eastside Camping Options
The Bear Lake State Park Eastside in Utah features five campgrounds with beaches and boat ramps, including North Eden, Rainbow Cove, Cisco Beach, South Eden, and First Point. These locations are situated between 4 and 12 miles north of Laketown on Cisco Road, according to Bear Lake State Park data.
West Side Marina Facilities
Other regional recreational sites include Rendezvous Beach, which provides 106 full hook-up sites and four reservable group sites with pavilions. On the west side of the lake, the Bear Lake State Park Marina in Garden City offers 20 overnight boat slips and a group day use pavilion, though no campsites are available at that location.
Idaho Campground and Beach Features
In Idaho, the Mountain Fawn Campground is located just north of the Utah border and provides group campsites for up to 50 people, complete with fire rings, electricity, charcoal grills, and a dump station. Additionally, North Beach offers a two-mile swimming area characterized by a gradual lake bottom slope.
Richmond Municipal Development Services
