EPHRAIM, Utah—The Snow College softball team ended their season with a sweep of USU-Eastern Utah at the Snow College Softball Complex on Friday.
In the first game, Taimane Laolagi-Aloy drove in five runs to lead the Badgers to a 12-1 victory over the Eagles. Mallory Kelsey earned the win in the circle for Snow, recording four strikeouts during five innings of work.
Brielle Sandoval recorded a run for the Eagles during the loss.
The Badgers continued their momentum in the second game, prevailing with a 6-2 win. Brooke Fisher hit a home run during the matchup, while Avery Thorkelson earned the victory in the circle after posting five strikeouts in seven innings.
Ainzleigh Quinn and Jayda Spight each contributed an RBI for the Eagles in the second loss.
Snow finishes the regular season with a 16-31 record, which includes a 10-22 mark in SWAC play.
The Badgers are positioned as the No. 3 seed in the SWAC Tournament, scheduled for May 12-14 at Norma Carr Softball Field of Taylorsville, Utah. Snow is set to face No. 2 Southern Idaho on Tuesday at noon.
