Following the implementation of House Bill 100, all students in the North Sanpete School District who qualify for reduced-price meals will now receive lunch at no cost.
In addition to free lunch for qualifying students, breakfast is available for $0.30.
Parents and guardians can apply for free or reduced-price meals through linqconnect.com. The district strongly encourages completing the application online, though paper applications are available upon request. A new application must be completed each school year, and the expiration date for free and reduced re-application is September 30, 2026.
For those seeking information regarding Sun Bucks EBT cards, the district provides a link to the Utah Department of Workforce Services website at https://jobs.utah.gov/customereducation/services/sebt/index.html.
North Sanpete School District aims to promote healthy schools by supporting nutrition and physical activity. A nutritional breakfast and lunch are served daily at each school.
Payments can be made directly to the school using cash, check, cashier’s check, or money orders. An online payment option via LINQ will be available in August for all schools. For physical payments brought from home, pink envelopes should be used, and student lunch numbers must be written on the envelopes. A drop box is located in each school office, with collections occurring by 10:30 a.m. daily.
The district notes that the Free and Reduced Meal Application is a separate process from the Fee Waiver Application for student fees. For questions regarding meal services, individuals may contact Food Service Director Karen Seely at 435-462-2485.
