Provo High School announced a series of back-to-school activities designed to welcome students for the new school year. The scheduled events include orientation sessions, an open house, and preparations for the first day of classes.
Orientation activities are scheduled for August 18. New students in grades 10 through 12 will have a session from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM, while 9th grade orientation is set for 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. These sessions allow new students and incoming 9th graders to learn about the school, meet staff, and become familiar with the campus.
A Back-to-School Open House is scheduled for August 18 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
The first day of school is scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, beginning with an A Day. Students participating in the first day will also engage in Chromebook checkout and Picture Day.
Chromebook checkout and Picture Day activities will continue on Thursday, August 20, providing an additional opportunity for students who did not complete these tasks on the first day.
The school expressed excitement regarding the upcoming orientation and the start of the new academic year.
