The Pleasant Grove City Council is scheduled to hold a work session and a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, according to a September 29 notice. The proceedings will begin with a work session at 4:30 p.m. at the Community Room located at 108 S 100 E, followed by a regular meeting at 6:00 p.m.
The work session scheduled for the evening of October 6 will include a presentation by Laurel Cunningham regarding the Historic Preservation Commission Project List. Additionally, council members will hold a discussion regarding secondary water rates and address staff business. Officials noted that while the work session is open to the public, it is not designed to take official action or hear public comment.
During the regular meeting, a public hearing is scheduled to consider Ordinance 2026-030. Presented by Director Cárdenas, the ordinance proposes a code text amendment to Section 10-15-47 to revise parking requirements for accessory apartments. Other action items ready for a vote include awarding S&L Inc. the Pleasant Grove Library Landscape and Pavilion Project, with an amount not to exceed $406,922.68, and considering Resolution 2026-045 to amend the Timpanogos Library Consortium Memorandum of Understanding between American Fork, Highland, and Pleasant Grove City.
The council will also consider Resolution 2026-046, which would authorize the Mayor to sign an engineering, design, and construction management services agreement with Ridgeline Consultants for the 600 West and Center Street Improvements Project. Other consent items include approving minutes from the August 18, 2026, and September 1, 2026, meetings, as well as various change orders and payments for Condie Construction Co., LLC and Black Forest Paving related to local waterline and roadway reconstruction projects.
