The Pleasant Grove City Council will hold a work session and a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, according to a notice published September 29. The work session is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room at 108 S 100 E, preceding the regular 6:00 p.m. meeting.
The work session agenda includes a presentation of the Historic Preservation Commission Project List by Laurel Cunningham and a discussion regarding secondary water rates. Staff business is also scheduled for the work session. While the meeting is public, the notice states that work sessions are not designed to hear public comment or take official action.
During the regular meeting, a public hearing is scheduled to consider Ordinance 2026-030. This ordinance involves a code text amendment to Section 10-15-47 regarding accessory apartments to revise parking requirements. Director Cárdenas is the presenter for this item.
Action items ready for a vote include awarding the Pleasant Grove Library Landscape and Pavilion Project to S&L Inc. via a Request for Proposals for an amount not to exceed $406,922.68, presented by Director Winterton. Other action items include Resolution 2026-045 to amend the Timpanogos Library Consortium Memorandum of Understanding between American Fork, Highland, and Pleasant Grove City, and Resolution 2026-046 to authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement with Ridgeline Consultants for the 600 West and Center Street Improvements Project.
The council will also consider several consent items, including minutes from the August 18, 2026, and September 1, 2026, meetings. This includes payment and change order approvals for Condie Construction Co., LLC for the 800 North Area Waterline, Drainage & Roadway Reconstruction Project, as well as payments and change orders for Black Forest Paving for the 1100 East Area Waterline and Roadway Reconstruction Project. Additionally, the council will consider payment reports for October 1, 2026.
