Lincoln Academy released an update on September 28 detailing a series of upcoming school activities and announcements for the week of September 28. The schedule includes various athletic events, student trips, and academic presentations scheduled through early October.
Athletic competitions were scheduled for September 28, featuring a boys soccer game and a girls volleyball game at 4:00 PM. Looking ahead, the school has scheduled a retake school picture day for October 1 at 10:00 AM. On that same day, 9th grade students are scheduled for Top Golf at 1:00 PM.
Field trips and retreats are scheduled for several grade levels in early October. A 6th grade field trip is scheduled for October 2 at 9:15 AM, followed by a 1st grade trip to the zoo on October 5 at 8:30 AM. Additionally, a Choose Kindness Retreat is scheduled for October 6 at 9:30 AM, and a choir music concert will be held on October 7 at 7:00 PM.
Yearbook sales are officially open to the public. According to the academy, yearbooks are available for $40 through Christmas Break, $45 through Valentine’s Day, and $50 after that until they are sold out. The school also released various dining resources, including September breakfast and lunch calendars, October breakfast and lunch menus, a new menu item for October, and a Hocus Pocus Halloween lunch menu.
Lincoln Academy is seeking classroom sponsors to support teachers and specialty classrooms. These sponsorships are intended to fund educational materials, field trips, educational magazines, classroom materials, and hands-on learning experiences. Each classroom requires approximately $500 in sponsorship support, though partial donations are accepted. Sponsors receive recognition via family names or business logos displayed on school TVs.
