Utah State head men's basketball coach Ben Jacobson announced the signing of transfer guard Dallin Hall on Tuesday, according to a August 25 statement. Hall is scheduled to join the Aggies for the 2026-27 season as a graduate transfer.
Hall, a 6-foot-4, 200-pound guard, has played three seasons at BYU and one year at Virginia during the 2025-26 season. During his time at Virginia, Hall started all 36 games and led the team in minutes played. The Cavaliers finished with a 30-6 record and reached the ACC Tournament runner-up position.
The guard has accumulated 97 starts in 136 collegiate games, totaling 986 points, 383 rebounds, 570 assists, and 112 steals. During his senior season at Virginia, Hall led the conference in assist-turnover ratio with a 3.27 mark.
Previously at BYU, Hall made 61 starts and helped the Cougars reach the NCAA Tournament twice, including a Sweet 16 appearance during the 2023-24 season. In that season, he was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention.
A native of Plain City, Utah, Hall attended Fremont High School where he was a three-time all-state selection and named the state's 6A Mr. Basketball. Following his prep career, Hall served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Fresno, California.
