Lake Mountain School District has officially announced the appointment of its inaugural leadership team. The district confirmed that Dr. Vicki Carter will serve as Superintendent and Dr. Amanda Bollinger will serve as Deputy Superintendent.
This announcement follows a recent period of transition for the district, which includes the establishment of its new name.
The formation of the Lake Mountain School District name follows a voting process where 67% of participants voted in favor of the name. The School Board voted unanimously to make Lake Mountain School District official.
The district's recent communications also noted that a previous accident on northbound I-15 in the Lindon area had caused significant delays on the freeway and impacted busing throughout the district.
