Princess, a 47-year-old southern white rhino at Hogle Zoo, was captured on camera applying a mud mask to herself in Salt Lake City, Utah.
According to a Gephardt Daily report, the rhinoceros used the mud, which may have served as a cooling technique, a form of sunscreen, or another type of beauty treatment.
The incident involving the rhinoceros was recorded on video. Observers noted the behavior of the animal, questioning whether the mud application was an organic cooling method or a way to apply sunscreen.
