Shawn and Nikkole Winters will be honored by the Lehi Historical Society as part of the Lehi Heritage Day 2026 celebrations. According to a report published August 14, the couple is one of seven individuals or couples being featured this year for their commitment to the community.
The Winters family has been a part of the Lehi community for decades. Shawn Winters, who has worked with Lehi City’s Parks Department since 2010, currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Parks. His career has included roles such as Cemetery Sexton. In addition to his professional role, he serves on the Lehi Serves Board and the Utah Horseshoers Guild. His background includes competing in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and studying blacksmithing and horseshoeing in the United Kingdom.
Nikkole Roseman Winters is a sixth-generation Lehi resident. Following her time as a flight attendant, she has served as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. Her community involvement includes serving as a Girls Camp director for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and building floats for the Miniature Float Parade. She also engages in local photography, capturing images of families and sports teams.
Together, the couple directs the Lehi Round-Up Stock Parade. The couple, who married in 1995 after meeting at the Lehi Round-Up Dirt Dance, has been married for 26 years.
