Nibley City released an update for the 2026 Fall 3rd and 4th Coed Recreation Soccer League on September 2. The schedule outlines various game times and locations for the 2026 season.
The league is a recreation level program designed to provide an affordable developmental soccer experience in a non-competitive environment. According to the update, games are officiated to help coaches and referees teach players during the scheduled time frame.
Games are held at several Nibley locations, including City Hall at 455 W 3200 S, Heritage Park at 2456 S 800 W, and Clear Creek Park at 2200 S 800 W.
Regarding weather, the league maintains a policy to proceed with games unless a coach provides notification otherwise. If rain or snow creates unsafe field conditions or risks damaging the field as determined by the Nibley Parks Superintendent, games will be canceled by 4 pm on the day of the game. In such events, games will be rescheduled at the discretion of league coordinators. Lightning guidelines are available online at www.Nibleycity.gov.
The schedule noted that no games were held during Labor Day weekend or during the Scarecrow Fun Run on September 22, 2026. Any games canceled due to weather are scheduled for rescheduling on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
