About
J. Stuart Adams is a Republican who represented Utah State Senate District 7, which covers parts of Davis and Morgan counties. He served in the Utah House of Representatives from 2002 to 2006, was appointed to the Senate in 2009, and became Senate President in 2019. A lifelong Davis County resident and businessman, he graduated from Layton High School and earned a BA in business finance from the University of Utah; he is married with four children and previously served on the Layton City Council and as chairman of the Utah Transportation Commission.
