Police in Clearfield discovered a group of teenagers in a local city park with guns, alcohol, marijuana, and vapes. During the encounter, an officer with the Clearfield City Police Department reported that one person's breathalyzer results were three times over the legal limit.
Following the incident, the police department issued several reminders to parents. Officials advised parents to know where their children are and who they are with, as well as to discuss the dangers and consequences of firearms, alcohol, and drugs.
The department also emphasized the importance of securing firearms, noting that locked firearms are much less likely to end up in the wrong hands.
Additionally, the police department reminded residents that all city parks close at midnight, with the exception of Island View Park, which closes at dark.
