Trail Head Rd. and Pony Express Pkwy. Intersection Improvements CommunityInfrastructure August 19, 2026 Save Road work will begin Thursday, August 20, at the intersection of Trail Head Road and Pony Express Parkway. Crews will start removing the median just south of the intersection. This work is part of a larger project to construct a traffic signal at the intersection to help improve safety. Additional construction will take place at the Trailhead roundabouts at a later date. There will be lane closures on Pony Express Parkway from 9 AM to 3 PM. Traffic control devices will be in place. Drivers are encouraged to use caution and follow traffic control through the work area. Lane restrictions at the roundabouts are expected between mid-October and late October. Residents will be notified before this work begins. A full closure of the west roundabout is planned for next year and is expected to last two to three weeks.
