The Layton City Police Department is searching for witnesses following a fire at a Costa Vida restaurant that occurred the night of July 4.
Police are specifically asking for anyone who may have seen individuals lighting fireworks near the restaurant during that time to come forward.
The fire broke out at the Costa Vida located at 630 West 1425 North shortly before midnight.
Estimates indicate the fire caused approximately $1.2 million in damage to the establishment.
