Glam Factor has been recognized as the September 2026 Business of the Month, according to a September 15 report from the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce.
Owned by Tara Burman, the salon has grown into one of the largest in the Basin since opening in 2022. The business aims to provide a space where women can feel confident, supported, and empowered.
The salon employs a team of 16 women providing various services, including hairstyling, massage, lashes, microblading, nails, and Pilates.
Beyond beauty services, Glam Factor provides apprenticeship opportunities to help individuals develop careers in the beauty and wellness industry. The business also focuses on community involvement and local collaboration. In June, the team provided free haircuts and gift bags to local foster children. The salon has also hosted a lemonade stand to raise money for the Veterans Pantry and collaborates with local businesses such as Coffee at 1020 and Soda Company. Additionally, the business has sponsored events like the Uintah High School tailgating party and has previously supported Miss Volunteer Uintah County.
Through its social media presence and brand, the business seeks to connect with the community by highlighting local people and businesses. Tara Burman stated that the salon's purpose is centered on beauty, wellness, empowerment, and community.
