The Huntington City Council is scheduled to hold two separate public hearings on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2026, to address fiscal and utility matters. According to a Oct. 29 notice, the meetings will occur at Huntington City Hall in conjunction with a regularly scheduled City Council meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The first public hearing will focus on proposed adjustments to the Fiscal Year 2027 budget, specifically regarding revenues and expenditures. Following the conclusion of the first session, a second public hearing will be held to receive public comment regarding a proposed annual utility rate increase and its associated utility rates and charges.
The hearings will be held at 20 South Main Street in Huntington, Utah. To accommodate the largest number of participants possible, the Mayor may use his discretion to limit public comments to five minutes per person for the official record.
Residents interested in participating via telephone can call City Hall by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the City Council meeting to receive the participation phone number. For those requiring special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, requests should be made to the City office at least three working days before the meeting.
The City Council invites the public to attend all meetings. For assistance with accommodations, the city can be reached at (435) 687-2436.
