The River Heights Planning Commission is scheduled to hold its regular meeting on May 12, 2026. The session will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be anchored from the River Heights City Office Building located at 520 S 500 E.
The meeting agenda includes several items for discussion, such as the Pledge of Allegiance and the adoption of previous minutes and the current agenda. The commission will also host public comment regarding land use.
Several public hearings are scheduled to take place during the meeting. These include a hearing regarding a Kennel Conditional Use Permit application from Brett and Lucia Tollaksen for three dogs, as well as a hearing for a boundary adjustment request from Brad Dickson of 735 Stewart Hill Drive.
Additionally, the commission will hold a public hearing to discuss code changes related to on-street parking, gravity sewer operations, and dogs. The agenda also includes a review of attorney comments concerning an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) ordinance.
