In 1A South baseball play on Wednesday, the Wayne Badgers defeated Green River 14-2 in Bicknell. Luke Beecher contributed three runs for Wayne, while Cooper Meadows and Gabriel Quintana each drove in a run for the Pirates.
In Price, the Valley Buffalos defeated Pinnacle 29-0, led by Bronx Withers who drove in five runs. Meanwhile, in Panguitch, the Panguitch Bobcats beat Bryce Valley 15-0. Traiger Ramsay recorded three runs and six strikeouts in four innings to secure the win for the Bobcats.
In non-region 1A South baseball, the Piute Thunderbirds defeated Tintic 10-2 in Eureka. Cody Schnabel drove in two runs for Piute, while Gavin Bratt recorded two runs in the loss for the Miners.
Volleyball results included a Region 20 matchup where Milford defeated Wayne 3-0.
In non-region volleyball, North Sanpete defeated Payson 3-1. Other results included Canyon View defeating Kanab 3-0 and Tintic defeating Bryce Valley 3-0.
