Salt Lake City Public Lands has announced a volunteer opportunity for the Perk Your Park event scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Liberty Park.
Organizers are looking to fill remaining positions for the morning shift, which runs from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM MDT. While nine volunteers have already signed up, an additional 41 people are needed to meet the goal.
The volunteer effort focuses on beautifying and maintaining Liberty Park to help ensure public spaces remain clean, safe, and enjoyable. Tasks for the project include weeding, mulching, and trash pickup.
Participants are encouraged to bring water, gloves, weather-appropriate clothing, and close-toed shoes. While extra gloves will be provided, volunteers should come prepared for the summer project tasks.
The event will take place at 600 Harvey Milk Blvd, Salt Lake City, UT 84105. Interested individuals must log in or register an account through the volunteer portal and complete a required waiver to participate.
