NEPHI, Utah, Aug. 30, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Police in Nephi say a woman was killed early Sunday morning in an officer-involved shooting. , police received a dispatch call about a domestic violence incident involving a weapon, a Nephi City Police statement says.
They then went to another known residence and found the suspect. Police said they tried to take her into custody, and shots were fired during the encounter. The woman was declared dead at the scene.
