People in Orangeville are bracing for another round of storms this week after severe flooding Saturday night displaced roughly 100 people from their homes. This is the worst Ive seen it in 30-plus years, said Brandon Ledger, who was in Orangeville helping a family member displaced by the flooding.

ORANGEVILLE – A sudden round of intense storms moved through Emery County on Saturday afternoon, triggering rapid flash flooding that overwhelmed local waterways, submerged community recreation areas and apartments and sent emergency responders rushing to help slow the debris buildup. The heavy downpour quickly filled local canals and river channels, where thick debris quickly slowed the flow.
